Lower School - Kindergarten to 4th Grade
Philosophy
The goal of the Lower School is to help young students acquire strong academic skills, develop decision-making and problem-solving techniques, and to become citizens who are respectful of others and strive to make the world a better place.
The Lower School program is based on a strong traditional, sequential curriculum providing appropriate enrichment where needed. With two classes per grade level, Lakehill offers a teacher-led, child-centered curriculum that builds a solid foundation for future success.
Students work both independently and cooperatively in pursuing an academic program that is challenging and motivating. The curriculum for Lower School progresses from developmental to more complex skills, leading to Middle and Upper School programs designed for college entrance.
