The Lower School Library serves students in kindergarten through fourth grade and houses a collection of nearly 10,000 books and audiovisual materials that are current, relevant, and related to the curriculum. The library also offers a primary search version of the 33 databases provided by EBSCO, subscriptions to five magazines, and World Book Online. Books and materials are updated based on the needs of the curriculum, suggestions by teachers, and requests by students.  The library staff analyzes the collection on a yearly basis, and utilizing data from various professional journals and educational resources.

The Lower School Computer Lab is located next to the library. Students have access to computers in the library and the computer lab.  The Lower School Library and Computer Lab provide resources for study, research, and reading opportunities.

The Middle and Upper School Library serves as a center for academic research, writing, and recreational reading. The library collection includes over 21,000 volumes, over 20 periodical titles, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and computers. Additional resources include information subscriptions to over 4,000 electronic publications including magazines, newspapers, books and research databases.

The writing lab, connected to the main library, provides access to 37 EBSCO host databases, the library circulation system Athena, World Book Online, WilsonWeb, and Scholastic Reading Counts.

Students, parents, and faculty can access all on-line research sources from home.

The Library is open before and after school for students in Middle and Upper School.  Upper School students may also go to the library during their lunch period and study halls.

The Birthday Book Donation Program is available for kindergarten though twelfth grade students.  Parents are invited to help the library purchase a book in honor of their child’s birthday.  Our library collections continue to grow through this program implemented over twenty years ago.
