Mathematics

The mathematics program at Lakehill Preparatory School is designed to guide students toward becoming skilled, thoughtful, and creative problem solvers who are able to utilize the tools of mathematics in other disciplines. The curriculum helps students acquire a rational understanding of mathematics by including age-appropriate activities with concrete materials and real-world applications.

The kindergarten through sixth grade classes use the Singapore Math curricula, supplemented with computation practice and problem-solving activities. Creative demonstrations, hands-on activities, and class discussions emphasize the application of basic skills in daily experiences.
