Technology

The goal of the Upper School technology program is to provide students with the ability to articulate computer science concepts and demonstrate facility in using those concepts to write Java programs. Students use computer applications, Internet web sites, and multimedia resources to access information, write reports, analyze data, and present results.  At this level Lakehill’s program continues to teach and guide students in the responsible use of Internet resources, intellectual property, and copyrighted material.

Either Computer Science I or Computer Applications will fulfill the one semester technology requirement for graduation. Additionally, computer science electives include Computer Science II, Computer Topics, AP Computer Science A, and Computer Languages.
